Planting Table Plans – The wood greenhouse plans include plans for a 1′-6″ tall work table in front of the windows and a 36″ tall work bench along the back wall.
Polycarbonate Plastic Roofing – This roofing is strong and inexpensive way to get sunlight into your greenhouse. There are details showing the connection between the aspahlt and clear roofings.
Optional Lower Windows – The lower windows are optional to reduce construction costs.

8×10 Wood Greenhouse Specifications Overview
Options: Plans include options to install greenhouse windows on the wall under the polycarbonate roofing.
Materials List: Use the included materials list to get pricing and to simplify the ordering of materials.
Foundation: 2 different foundations are included in the plans: Wood skid or Concrete slab.
Floor: 2×8 floor joists at 16″ on center with 3/4″ floor sheathing.
Walls: 2×4 framing at 16″ on center with a double top plate, just like a home is framed. The rear greenhouse shed wall height is 7′-5″.
Door: The 8x10greenhouse shed uses a standard house door which is typically a door with glass in it.
Roof: The roof is framed using 2×4’s to build rafter trusses.
Roofing: The clear greenhouse roofing is corrugated polycarbonate roofing commonly used for greenhouse roofs and walls. The regular roofing is 25 year asphalt shingles.
Siding: T1-11 siding or similar 4’x8′ wood or cement panel siding is specified. This can be changed to use any siding you like.
Trim: 1×3 and 1×6 wood, masonite or cement trim materials are used to finish the corners, roof eves and facia, and door.
